There was a moment during Aurora’s 30-20 win over Omaha Gross Friday night that many fans likely missed, but will go great lengths to the Huskies’ success the rest of the season.

Another solid night in the rush game carried Aurora to its second win in a row, highlighting the area's performance in week four.  Carlos Collazo carried the ball 31 times tonight for the Huskies, rushing for 250 yards and two scores in Aurora's 30-20 win against Omaha Gross.

4R reviews, OKs budget increase

The Aurora 4R School Board discussed and approved its 2021-22 fiscal year budget Monday, and did so with an overall budget of $27,024,329, an increase of approximately $7.7 million over the estimated disbursements and transfers from last school year.

The Aurora boys cross country team was at full strength for the first time in a while Friday at the Huskies home invite, finishing third in what coach Tony Sigler said was a very positive step forward.

4R board hears girls wrestling proposal

Aurora wrestling coach and middle school physical education teacher Derek Keasling brought a crowd of supporters and a proposal to incorporate girls wrestling as an NSAA sanctioned sport at Aurora High School to Monday evening’s 4R school board meeting.
