HPC continues talks on football classification

Football classification was again a big topic of conversation at HPC’s monthly school board meeting Oct. 10, though no official decision was made.The decision will come in November, however, as each school must report its two-year classification by Nov. 30.

NDOT worker dies after being struck by SUV

A Nebraska Department of Transportation employee died Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident on Highway 34 west of Aurora. A release from NDOT reports the incident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. near the Giltner Spur.
