Hampton awards bid for subdivision

Work could begin in a matter of weeks on installing water and sewer lines for the Village of Hampton’s new West Subdivision following action by the village board on Monday night.
One-day old pheasant chicks are mailed to clients like Dane Schafer of Hampton, who utilize equipment provided by Oklahoma-based Wildlife Management Technologies to protect and care for the birds during their first few weeks of life.

As a life-long hunter, Dane Schafer is aiming high in hopes of replenishing the area’s small-game bird population.Having grown up in Hamilton County hunting with his father, brother, uncles and friends, Schafer said he developed a love for the outdoors, hunting everything from large to small game.

Search to begin for 4R facility review

The Aurora 4R School Board voted Monday to proceed with the process of selecting a company to conduct a facility study of the district in what Supt. Jody Phillips explained as the next step in the year-long strategic planning initiative.

Anyone driving down M Street in Aurora recently may have noticed a rather odd sight — a big round hay bale with windows sitting on a two wheeled trailer.
