Giltner Daze craze is set to happen Saturday from 9 a.m. to midnight with a multitude of activities planned ll over the Hamilton County town.  The events start with the Street Vault at Giltner City Park with registration and warm-up at 9 a.m.

Kale Bish skipped the opening height of the Class D pole vault, but once he entered the field there was no slowing the Hornet sophomore down.

All three area teams compete at windy HPC Invite

For the first time this spring, all three area teams converged at the same event.  High Plains’ rescheduled invite kicked off Saturday and went off without a hitch despite the loud wind gusts that never relented throughout the afternoon.  However, temperatures were manageable and the results showed.

No one forgets their first car, but how many people keep it and restore their starting vehicle to its former glory? One of the few that can claim this title is Allan Coats of Giltner, who has invested in renewing his ‘70 Plymouth Road Runner for the past six years and counting.
