Christina (Chris) Wykoff was born on June 18, 1957, to Bob and Ruth (Nelson) Wykoff and her big brother John. She passed away on December 4, 2025, in Grand Island. Chris’s wish was to be cremated, and inurnment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Jana Griffith, age 63, of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025 in North Mankato, Minn., surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 9 at the Monroe Evangelical Free Church, 1001 West 18 Road in Phillips, Nebraska. Rev. Mark Dunham will officiate.

William 'Brad' Buchanan

James Sweeney, age 70, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at his home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 3 at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary.  Rev. Penny Schulz will officiate. Interment will be in the Farmers Valley Cemetery east of Stockham.
