Pauline A. Smith 96, of Hampton, took her last breath on October 29, 2025 in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 3 at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Interment will be at the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.

Rita G. Friesen, age 82, of York, died Saturday, October 25, 2025 in York. She was born on May 15, 1943 to Carl and Dorothy (Renquist) Wilson in Oakland, CA. On July 25, 1968 she was united in marriage to LeRoy (Pete) Friesen in York.
