Aurora's win over Grand Island Northwest Tuesday was a bit sweeter. The Lady Huskies held off the late Viking rally to win in five, 22-25, 26-24, 25-16, 24-26 and 15-6 at home Tuesday.

The Aurora boys cross country team ran at the Central City Invite Thursday where the team walked away with a third-place win and a runner-up medal for senior Dylan Riley.

Aurora made plays all over the diamond Thursday, both at the plate and in the field during an 11-2 win at Central City.  One of its biggest defensive plays was not-your-normal 6-3-5 double play to keep Central City off the board.
