Storm fall to Meridian at CRC

After a wild first round win in the CRC tournament, the small in numbers HPC girls squad met its match in the quarterfinals.  High Plains couldn’t slow down a potent Meridian attack as the Mustangs defeated the Storm 52-22 in the CRC quarterfinals Jan. 24 at the York City Auditorium.

Baylor Scheierman’s best chance to reach the ultimate goal of the NBA was to “come home.” The former Husky participated in NBA draft workouts last spring before ultimately deciding to come back to college one more year and transfer to Creighton for the opportunity to play major college basketball.
