In two games last week Aurora was expected to win, the Huskies had no letdown, sharing the ball well as its win streak extended to seven games.
The Huskies picked up a 67-29 win at home over Schuyler in its first game of 2023 Friday night before following that up with another convincing 64-30 victory at St. Paul Saturday.
Aurora coach Kevin Asher commented it was nice to see the Huskies play well, for the most part, adding that in two games they looked better on paper.
“We had a really good approach both nights,” Asher reported. “Against Schuyler, we were coming off not playing at home for quite some time and tonight we did well on the road. I was proud of how we played defense both nights and that should be the case for us every time. Now, we can get into the meat of the schedule.”
