First-year head coach Scott Phillips has been preaching defense to his Lady Husky squad in the early going of the season and defense helped Aurora post its second win Friday by holding visiting Columbus Lakeview to just 29 points.

Fresh off the gridiron just a week and a half prior, Wahoo found its shot quickly.Leading by 11 at halftime, Wahoo quickly flipped that to a 22-point lead after an impressive third quarter of shooting in the Warriors’ 66-43 win at Aurora Saturday.

Aurora’s Caly Settles was the lone area champion from Friday’s York Invite, picking up four pinfall victories on the afternoon.
