The football game felt secondary Friday night, but it didn’t stop Hampton from a huge response.After suffering its first loss of the season to defending champion Stuart last week, the Hawks bounced back with a dominant 73-20 win over Ansley-Litchfield in the program’s final regular season home game.

Aurora’s two state golf qualifiers both carded memorable experience in Scottbluff last week, with senior Julia Messere finishing as the Class B champion and junior Delainey Phillips coming within four strokes of a medal, giving her extra motivation to tee it up at state next year.

For a 12th consecutive season, the Aurora girls cross country team is headed for Kearney.The Lady Huskies scored a runner-up effort during Thursday's B-4 district meet in Overton while placing four in the top 11.Seward won the girls team battle with 22 points while Aurora wasn't far behind at 35.
