Plainsman: History, legacies of patriotism

Appreciation for Hamilton County’s military history and veterans who served is well known in the area and nowhere is it more physically visible than in Aurora’s Plainsman Museum.

City approves bid for new EMS quarters

The Aurora City Council approved a bid to add vehicle storage bays and EMS living quarters to the 14th Street fire department building at its July 14 meeting. Seven bids were submitted for the project, with the council awarding the project to Herk’s Welding out of Central City as the lowest bidder.

Giltner graduation set for this Sunday

A moment a long time coming has finally arrived for Giltner’s Class of 2020. The 17 Hornet graduates will gather for a final time at GHS for its long-awaited graduation ceremony Sunday at 2 p.m to celebrate and turn the tassels.

Hawk seniors say final farewell in community event
