Two construction workers were on the job last week on A Street as part of the South Interceptor project. According to Darbro the project will be 98 percent complete by June 1 and is expected to be open for through traffic at that time.

City council members voted for and passed a series of pay applications to construction companies for the South Interceptor (A Street) and Streeter housing subdivision additions, according to city administrator Rick Melcher.

Council approves 2nd reading of Kremer 5th Sub. annexation

The Aurora City Council approved the second of three required readings to advance annexation of a parcel in the Kremer 5th Subdivision during a very brief meeting Jan. 25. Lot 2 of the Kremer Subdivision just north of A Street has been proposed for annexation into the city limits.
