Action allows ADC more time to create jobs on site

The Aurora City Council voted March 8 to extend a state program by two years, allowing the Aurora Development Corporation more time to create jobs as part of the requirement of an initial 2010 land acquisition and development grant.
The Aurora City Council voted last week to extend a Community Development Block Grant for a Power Park project on Highway 14, in effect allowing the Aurora Development Corporation more time to recruit business and industry that will help create the jobs required by the initial terms of a 2010 state-funded program.
