Projects expected to be completed in two months

  • Two construction workers were on the job last week on A Street as part of the South Interceptor project. According to Darbro the project will be 98 percent complete by June 1 and is expected to be open for through traffic at that time.
    Two construction workers were on the job last week on A Street as part of the South Interceptor project. According to Darbro the project will be 98 percent complete by June 1 and is expected to be open for through traffic at that time.

    City council members voted for and passed a series of pay applications to construction companies for the South Interceptor (A Street) and Streeter housing subdivision additions, according to city administrator Rick Melcher. 
    Agenda items five through eight approved payment of $345,981 to Mid-Nebraska Land Developers for the South Interceptor project sewer system; $54,908 to Doernemann Construction Inc. for seeding and retainage of grass in Streeter; $601,260 to Mid-Nebraska Land Developers for concrete paving in Streeter; and $182,156 to Rutjens Construction for piping and sewers within the Streeter project.
