For a 12th consecutive season, the Aurora girls cross country team is headed for Kearney.The Lady Huskies scored a runner-up effort during Thursday's B-4 district meet in Overton while placing four in the top 11.Seward won the girls team battle with 22 points while Aurora wasn't far behind at 35.

Three area teams picked up wins Friday night as the regular season moves into October.Aurora went on the road for a second week in a row and looked dominant doing so, shutting out Adams Central, 34-0.The Huskies (3-3) led 20-0 at the half, including a 99-yard drive as one of those TDs.
