The High Plains defensive unit stood tall, handing the Storm its first playoff win in nearly a decade.The Storm got a stop late to pick up a 22-20 win over Lawrence-Nelson Thursday night in Clarks during the opening round of the Class D2 playoffs.

Aurora and High Plains rolled to big wins Friday night behind big offensive numbers. The Huskies totaled over 350 yards in its biggest offensive output of the season, defeating Milford 56-14.Aurora ran for over 200 yards while adding nearly 150 through the air, scoring 35 points before half.
