Afternoon on Tuesday, Sept. 1 the Goodwill trailer will be arriving at the Aurora United Methodist Church. The trailer will be available until Tuesday, Sept. 8 or until full.
Accepted items include clothing, household items, shoes, accessories, books and electronics.

Valuation bump snaps 3-year decline

The valuation of property in Hamilton County rose by approximately 1 percent this year, snapping a three-year run of declines.
Hamilton County Assessor Pat Sandberg posted the 2020 valuation totals for all taxing subdivisions last week, noting an increase of $19.4 million for a total of $2.

Boy Scout Troop 28 seeks donations for fundraiser

Members of Boy Scout Troop 28 have found a way to raise money during a time when many of their usual events have been canceled. The scouts will be participating in Junk Jaunt Sept. 25-28 and will be hosting an auction tentatively set for Nov. 14 at the Phillips Memorial Hall.
