Card shower to honor Roger Happold’s 80th birthday

Several multicar accidents on week’s docket

A total of six accidents were reported this week by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Aurora Police Department.
On Saturday, Heather Land was pulling out of a stall at Pump and Pantry and struck a yellow post near the gas pumps, the report stated.

Phase 3, Phase 4 DHMs extended until Sept. 13

Phase 3 directed health measures (DHMs) that are in effect until Aug. 31 are being extended through Sept. 13. A total of 66 Nebraska counties are currently in Phase 3.
All counties in Phase 3 will move to Phase 4 on Sept. 14 unless hospitalizations dramatically change.

Those driving to and fro from Hamilton County into Hall or Merrick counties may notice a rather usual, but also unusual sight -- a low and dry Platte River.
