Giltner school patrons recall Waddle

Giltner School District patrons have voted to remove Chris Waddle from the board, passing a recall initiative by a vote of 167 to 102. Hamilton County Clerk Jill DeMers reported that the unofficial results were posted at approximately 5:30 p.m.
A single, empty seat at the head of Hampton’s bench was the focus of the night Friday as a gymnasium full of family and friends paid tribute to Coach Kyle Ediger, who was killed in a car/train accident earlier in the week.

Aurora educators across the 4R district were invited to take part in a special opportunity Friday. A day that would have been spent planning away, as there was technically no school for students, was spent on the Husky Bus and eventually in Kansas City, Mo.

Kicking off the 4R board meeting with good news, Aurora High School principal Doug Kittle announced that three Huskies had made it to the National Merit Scholar Finalists round. These three individuals are Preston Ramaekers, Elena Kuehner and Caden Carlson.

A long-standing tradition in Hamilton County, the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners voted to approve and sign the proclamation designating February 2022 as Hamilton County 4-H Month.
