Back again for another year, the Hamilton County Food Pantry welcomes the 18th annual 10/11 Can Care-A-Van.  This event, sponsored by Black Hills Energy and JBS is set to collect a large amount of nonperishable goods from around the community to help those in need.

Another annual summer staple will be hitting the bricks this weekend as Market on the Sqaure returns Saturday morning to the Hamilton County Courthouse parking lot.  The farmer’s market series runs from June 4 to Sept. 17, every Saturday, from 8-11 a.m.

Hamilton County locals are invited to attend Memorial Day events throughout the area on Monday to honor veterans who died while enlisted in the United States military. The Aurora American Legion Post 42 and Aurora VFW Post 4993 will conduct services at five locations, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Aurora’s Cottonwood Gallery & Arts is set to welcome an exhibition by local artist Madison Vetter. The exhibition, titled “Collected Works of Honest Fiction,” is a collection of mixed-media art done by the local, most of which aim to focus on the layers behind humans and society.
