Norma Holtorf

Norma Ann Holtorf, 80, of Hordville, passed away on September 23, 2026, in Central City.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Fridhem Lutheran Church in Hordville, with PMA Jan Anderson officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the funeral service.

Lois Burns, age 78, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Hearthstone in York. Lois’s wishes were to be cremated. Lois’s ashes will be inurned at Aurora Cemetery at a later date. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Campbell, age 93, of Aurora, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Westfield Quality Care. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 28 at the Westside Covenant Church in Aurora. Pastor Karl Larson will officiate.

A Funeral Mass for Gene Hostert, age 90, of Butte,  will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Butte, with Fr. Ross Burkhalter officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Butte.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.

Violet Fisher

Violet Fisher, age 90, of Aurora, formerly of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Memorial Community Care. Violet’s wishes were to be cremated.   Violet’s ashes will be taken back to Fort Collins, Colorado.

Karen Elizabeth Blase, age 85 of York, died Monday, September 7, 2026 in York. She was born on September 2, 1941 to Robert B. and Blanche (Shroyer) Nelson in Polk. On August 2, 1959 she was united in marriage to Milan Lee Blase in York.
