Kyle Kuhn

Kyle Thomas Kuhn, son of Bob and Gwynne Kuhn, was born November 12, 1970 in Central City, and passed away November 14, 2021 in Denton, Texas.  Kyle loved vintage automobiles, Star Wars, KISS, the Nebraska Huskers and Dallas Cowboys.   He attended school in Central City, Aurora and UNL.

Herman Goertzen

Herman W. Goertzen was born to Peter K. and Mary Goertzen on December 21, 1926. He grew up on the family farm and spent his formative years helping his father farm. Herman attended District 33 through the eighth grade and then started attending high school in town.

Marian Jane Peters, age 89, of Aurora, passed away on Sunday, November, 21, 2021 at CHI St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Henderson, at the Bethesda Cemetery followed by a 10:30 a.m.

Bruce Dyer

Bruce Dyer, age 87, of Kearney, formerly of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the Kearney Medical Center. A Memorial Service for Bruce and Addie will be at the United Methodist Church of Aurora on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. Pastor Greg Reed will officiate.

Addie Dyer

Addie Dyer, age 79, of Aurora, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home. A Memorial Service for Bruce and Addie will be at the United Methodist Church of Aurora on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11 a.m.  Pastor Greg Reed will officiate.  There will be no visitation.

Lauren Gibilisco

 Lauren L. Gibilisco – November 16, 1986 – November 10, 2021. Lauren was born in Omaha, but lived in Aurora most of her life.  Lauren was a warrior and a ray of light.  Witty, sweet, and smart.  She would light up a room and fill it with laughter.

Theresa Seiker

Theresa Seiker, of Lincoln, passed away at the age of 93 on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home in Lincoln. Theresa Helen was born in 1927 at home to Susan (Berres) and John Trausch in Roseland. Theresa attended Silver Lake Grade School and graduated from Roseland High School in 1945.

Ronald Penner

Ronald Penner, age 79, of Hampton, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Hearthstone in York. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 15 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora.  Rev. Rudy Flores will officiate.

Gerald 'Fritz' Wilson

Gerald ‘Fritz’ Wilson, age 85, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at his home. A Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13 at Westside Covenant Church, Aurora.  Rev. Karl Larson will officiate.  Private family inurnment will be at the Aurora Cemetery.

Robert Hartzell

Robert Hartzell, age 92, formerly of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Azria Health in Central City. His wishes were to be cremated.  His family will hold a private family graveside service. Inurnment will be in the Inland Cemetery. No visitation.
