Norma "Jean" Paneitz

Norma “Jean” Paneitz, 85, of Grand Island passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Grand Island Regional Medical Center. Memorial services in her honor will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church. Pastor Dan Bremer will officiate. Burial will be held at 2 p.m.

Scott Butcher, age 69, of Aurora, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the VA Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 26 at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. Pastor Nelson Rossi will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

Chris Hansen, age 66, of Omaha, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 20, 2022, at CHI Health Lakeside Hospital in Omaha. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 24 at Westside Covenant Church in Aurora. Rev. Karl Larson will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

Rose Marie Janda, 100, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Westfield Quality Care, Aurora.  A Rosary will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at 7 p.m. and Mass will be Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.

Randall 'Randy' Becker

Randall “Randy” S. Becker, 62, of Phillips, died January 11, 2022. Service and celebration of Randy’s life will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 17, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery.

Ardys Dunsmoor

Ardys Lynne Dunsmoor, age 67 of York, died Monday, January 10, 2022 at Newman Grove. She was born February 24, 1954 to Allen and LaDonna (Priefert) Avers at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.  On June 21, 1980, she was united in marriage to Jeff Dunsmoor at Denver, CO.

Randall "Randy" Otto

Randall “Randy” Otto, 69, of Phillips, passed away December 29, 2021 in Chattanooga, TN.  A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 15 at 3 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home.  Dan Naranjo will officiate.  Visitation will run from 1-3 p.m. on that day, also at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life for Robert Hartzell is being hosted by his children on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 from 3 to 7 p.m. There will be a short service at 3 p.m. officiated by Pat Phillips, followed by a light lunch and beverages.

Lawrence Shaffer

Lawrence Buryl Shaffer, 97, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Rose Vista Nursing Home. He was born in Moorhead, Iowa on “Moving Day” March 1, 1924, to Burl and Anna (McHugh) Shaffer. In his youth, he spent time in Magnolia, Pisgah, Beebeetown, Logan, Persia and Woodbine.
