Ron A. Nicholson, age 76, of Sutton, died on Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Hastings.  He was born on July 16, 1945 in Austin, MN to Norman and Mildred (Haney) Nicholson.  He was united in marriage to Darlene Comer on July 13, 1969 in Aurora.

Michelle "Mick" Van Luchene

Michelle “Mick” Van Luchene, 55 of Grand Island died unexpectantly on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Celebration of Life to honor Mick will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Balz Reception Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a pet rescue of her pleasing.

Lila Senff-Miller, age 90, of Hampton, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Zion Lutheran Church, north of Hampton. Rev. David Feddern will officiate. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Darrell Niles, age 92, of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Memorial Community Care. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m.  Wednesday, March 9 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Aurora. Rev. Mark Seiker will be the Celebrant. Interment will be at the Red Cloud Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Douglas "Doug" Shenk

Douglas “Doug” Lynn Shenk, 58, of Polk, died Friday, February 25, 2022 at his home.  Memorial services will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 12 p.m. at the Hordville Event Center in Hordville.   Greeting of friends will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 pm. at the Center.

Aileen Chieko Gilliland, 74, of Henderson, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:05 a.m. Feb. 16, 2022. A burial service will be held at Buhler Memorial Cemetery, Buhler, Kans. at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22.

Randall 'Randy' Marlatt

Randall (Randy) Lee Marlatt passed away February 8, 2022 in Omaha, from complications of covid and pneumonia. Randall (Randy) Lee Marlatt was born June 12, 1968 in Grand Island, to Curtis and  Jeanette (Cornelius) Marlatt. Randy graduated from Aurora High School, Aurora in  1986.
