CRC tourney updates

High Plains and Hampton each began CRC tournament runs Saturday at York High School.  The Lady Storm began its tournament with a thrilling 25-21 and 25-23 win over Shelby-Rising City, moving on to the quarterfinals to take on Exeter-Milligan.

Friday night roundup week 8

Aurora's win streak was snapped at five Friday night after a third straight top 10 matchup, this time against Grand Island Northwest.  The Vikings scored the go-ahead with a minute to play as Aurora's final drive ended on downs.

Lady Huskies start Central Conference tourney 2-0

Aurora's volleyball team kicked off the Central Conference tournament on a high note, picking up wins over Crete and host Columbus Lakeview Thursday to open pool play, 2-0.  The Lady Huskies made quick work of Crete, 25-16 and 25-7 before Aurora and Lakeview had a three-set thriller.

Balanced offensive attack lifts Aurora inside The Jungle

A balanced attack with plenty of road warriors was all the Aurora volleyball team needed Thursday night in Hastings.  The Lady Huskies shared the ball and fed off its visiting crowd energy, picking up a four-set win over the Tigers, 25-17, 23-25, 25-22 and 25-19.
