Kaminski/Nielsen win Poco Creek member/guest title

Dan Kaminski and Jared Nielsen won championship honors of the annual Member/Guest Tournament held this weekend at Poco Creek Golf Course in Aurora.
The winning team advanced from 27 holes of pool play Saturday, which began with a record 40 two-man teams.

After losing both games of a double-header to Gibbon/Shelton back on June 16, Aurora was victorious in one of two games played July 5 from Mitchell Field.

An early lead turned sour for the Aurora Cooperative Post 42 Juniors squad.
St. Paul scored nine unanswered runs to rally and defeat Aurora 11-3 Sunday from Mitchell Field.
Despite that, though, it was Aurora that held the early lead thanks to a couple runs in the first inning.

A solid starting pitching effort from Cauy Walters wasn’t enough as St. Paul rallied for a 13-6 win Sunday at Mitchell Field.
