For the third year in a row, Aurora is one of the final 14 teams in the state left standing, set to compete for a state championship next week.
The Huskies will play in its third consecutive state football championship Tuesday at 2:45 p.m., taking on Pierce in the C1 finals from Memorial Stadium.

Baylor Scheierman’s best chance to reach the ultimate goal of the NBA was to “come home.”
The former Husky participated in NBA draft workouts last spring before ultimately deciding to come back to college one more year and transfer to Creighton for the opportunity to play major college basketball.

With a third consecutive trip to the state finals on the line, the last obstacle in Aurora’s path is a familiar foe.
The Huskies will host Boone Central Friday night in the Class C1 semifinals in the top half of the bracket with Pierce hosting Adams Central in the other semifinal.
