St. Mary’s, St. Joseph’s hold First Communion

First Holy Communion, usually celebrated in 2nd grade, was held on Sunday for Hamilton County Catholic students from St. Mary's, Aurora, and St. Joseph's, Giltner. The students are now in 3rd grade, as the ceremony was postponed on April 5 because of the pandemic.

Nothing seems to slow the Aurora High School marching band as they complete their week-long band camp in anticipation of the upcoming season.
While the performances may look different and competitions have been canceled, director Dan Sodomka is optimistic as he looks to the future.

Bands on Bricks finale

Bands on the Bricks will wrap up its third year summer series with a 2020 finale Friday featuring local native Myles Jasnowski.
The Aurora Chamber of Commerce coordinated event begins at 6 p.m. on the downtown square and will conclude at 9. Jasnowski will perform from 6 to 6:45 p.m.
