Heart statue returns with all new look

The Hamilton Community Foundation and Aurora High School art students have teamed up to redecorate one of the heart statues that was previously located outside of the Alice M. Farr Library. The new painted design was created by the students and has been named “Depots at Dawn.

Snider’s Outdoor Power to expand

Scott and Monica Snider knew when they moved into their Highway 14 location that Snider’s Outdoor Power would eventually need more space. That time has come, as work has begun on an expansion project designed to help them accommodate and continue a pattern of steady growth.

Classic car road tour to parade through Aurora Saturday

A true sight to behold, Aurora will welcome the 28th annual Nebraska Rod and Custom Association 600-mile Tour Nebraska driving event Saturday.  This is a road tour of 450-plus classic, antique and special interest vehicles. This unique driving event will also entertain young and old.

Courthouse 125 celebration plans coming together

A celebration initially planned for 2020 is back on track and gaining momentum as the community prepares to honor the 125th anniversary and history of the iconic Hamilton County Courthouse.

Aurora Girl Scout Journey Noyes was invited to participate in a special CNN graduation event alongside Vice President Kamala Harris. Noyes was part of the virtual audience for “Graduation 2021: A CNN Special Event,” which aired at 6 p.m. May 23.
