City conducting lead service line survey

City officials have begun gathering information on residential and commercial water service lines in Aurora, all part of a process required by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Padgett Business Services in Aurora has a new owner as of Nov. 1, with long-time employee Monica Snider purchasing the local franchise from Heather Ballas.

The weather outside was bone-chilling cold on Dec. 9 in Aurora, but the feeling of joy and heart-felt warmth carried the day during the Hamilton County Food Pantry’s annual holiday meal distribution event.

The sale of the Phillips Memorial Hall from the village to the Phillips Community Foundation took one more step toward becoming a reality at the December meeting of the village board on Dec. 5.

Aurora bowling team has fun with experiences to spare

The Westsides Lanes Bowling Alley was packed with teams alongside Aurora’s and their families Nov. 18, reflecting growing support for a Unified Bowling program that teaches life lessons far more valuable than how to knock down pins.
