Judge rules on Adams murder case motions

District Judge Christina Marroquin ruled in December on several defense motions arising from an October motions hearing in the Jeffery Adams murder case. Adams is set to stand trial this summer for the death of his wife Angela in their Marquette home on Feb. 26 of last year.

With two major snowstorms within a week and more than 900 miles of county roads to keep open, Hamilton County Highway Department Supt. Jeremy Brandt was on his eighth day of work without a break Monday and with no clear end in sight.
