Huskies set for anticipated finals matchup vs Pierce

For the third year in a row, Aurora is one of the final 14 teams in the state left standing, set to compete for a state championship next week.  The Huskies will play in its third consecutive state football championship Tuesday at 2:45 p.m., taking on Pierce in the C1 finals from Memorial Stadium.

Aurora set for Boone Central rematch

With a third consecutive trip to the state finals on the line, the last obstacle in Aurora’s path is a familiar foe.  The Huskies will host Boone Central Friday night in the Class C1 semifinals in the top half of the bracket with Pierce hosting Adams Central in the other semifinal.
