From Huskies to Bulldogs, Carlos Collazo isn’t done making defenders look silly on the gridiron.
Collazo signed with Concordia University Feb. 8 to continue his academic and football career just down I-80.
The smile never left Collazo’s face the entire time, through his signature moment, the photos and interviews.
“I’m excited for this today and the next chapter,” Collazo said. “I’m excited to just get this weight off my shoulders. It’s been a lot, but it’s going to be fun.”
While Collazo has terrorized opponents in multiple sports at Aurora, football has been the one he’s come back to. Playing college football is always something he’s dreamed about doing. He’ll get that opportunity not far from home.
“College football is something I’ve always wanted to do,” Collazo said. “I’ve loved the game since I was young and I’ve always seen it in my life. I’m excited to continue playing football and have the opportunity to play college football.”
