Storm fall to Meridian at CRC

After a wild first round win in the CRC tournament, the small in numbers HPC girls squad met its match in the quarterfinals.  High Plains couldn’t slow down a potent Meridian attack as the Mustangs defeated the Storm 52-22 in the CRC quarterfinals Jan. 24 at the York City Auditorium.

HPC Storm falls to Exeter-Milligan in CRC quarterfinals

High Plains and Exeter-Milligan had one of the matches of the day from the CRC tournament in the quarterfinals Saturday in York.  The two teams traded blows in its second match of the week, this time Exeter-Milligan taking the win in three, 25-22, 18-25 and 25-20. Back on Oct.

Storm boys down Merdian for first CRC tourney win since ’16

All three area boys teams have been eliminated from the Crossroads Conference Basketball Tournament in York, with High Plains falling to No. 1 seed Osceola in second-round action Monday while Hampton and Gitlner both lost their openers on Saturday.

CRC showdown a windy affair Saturday in Osceola

A tough field of competitors and gusty winds made it a challenging day for area track and field teams Saturday in Osceola, where several PRs were set during this year’s Crossroads Conference showdown.

Hornets bitten by Bulldogs in conference tilt Friday

Giltner put Osceola in a position to work a bit harder for a win than they may have thought, at least for awhile.  The Hornets were tied with the No. 8 D-2 ranked Bulldogs after the first quarter, but Osceola was too much for Giltner to handle in a 51-35 loss Friday night.
