Area football schedules released

The Nebraska Schools Activities Association released the 2026-2027 high school football schedules Wednesday.Aurora makes a return to Class B football for the next two-year cycle and sees a return of several familiar opponents and rivalries from past memory.

Eight Lady Huskies ended up with top five finishes in Friday’s Central Conference tournament, the last tune-up before an all-important district event.Aurora rounded out the afternoon with a sixth place team effort and 119.5 points. Lexington edged out Adams Central for the team title with 187.
