Aurora’s volleyball team has found a new gear as the matches in the coming weeks continue to increase with importance.
The Lady Huskies extended its win streak to four games after a four-set win on the road at Hastings Thursday, 25-12, 23-25, 25-22 and 25-16.

For the second time in as many weeks, the Aurora boys basketball team had no answer for the Bluejays as Seward took down the top-seeded Huskies 49-33 in the semifinals of the Central Conference tournament Thursday in Seward’s home gym.

The Aurora cross country boys had their hands full at the Charlie Thorell Invite in Seward Thursday where a young Husky squad competed without its No. 1 runner on slick, hilly terrain.
The end result was a valuable learning experience for a Husky team that finished 12th in a 14-team field.
