Scare the Square will be boo-ming back in spook-tacular fashion Thursday at 5 p.m. on the courthouse parking lot with the downtown square closed at 4 p.m. to make way for all the little boys and ghouls who will be out trick-or-treating the brick-laden road.

Scary good time results in high food donation total

The heart of Aurora was the place for spooks and goblins, all for a good cause over Halloween weekend.  Aurora native Carl Franklin scared up plenty of good times over Halloween weekend and while doing so put together a big donation for the Hamilton County Food Pantry.

Thriller! of a halftime show

Aurora’s cheer and dance team brought out its spookiest routine during Friday’s halftime routine as Aurora hosted Lexington for the opening round of the playoffs. As Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ blared through the speakers, Aurora’s dancers put on a spooky performance.
