Patricia 'Pat' Oswald

Patricia ‘Pat’ Ann Oswald went home to her Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the age of 81. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 28 at Monroe Evangelical Free Church north of Murphy. Rev. Mark Dunham will officiate.

Menno Classen

Menno was born March 13, 1938 to Abe L. (Agnes Bartel) Classen and died in Great Bend, Kansas. He went to heaven November 21, 2020 and was greeted by his Saviour, his parents, sisters Martha (Henry) Baerg, Ann Classen, Esther (Ed) Ratzlaff and brother-in-law Roy Regier.

Edgar Tucker

Edgar Tucker, age 77, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln.  A graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 23 at the Aurora Cemetery. Pastor Bob Gannon will officiate. Current CDC guidelines will be followed.

Sharilyn "Sherry" Quick

Sharilyn “Sherry” Sue Quick, 82, of Hordville, died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Hordville with Pastor Ford Shenk officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Richard Ballas, age 39, of Aurora, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Memorial Hospital of Aurora. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 19 at the Aurora United Methodist Church with Pastors Michelle and Greg Reed officiating.

Myron Omel

Myron W. Omel, son of Armand and Alta Omel, was born July 2, 1917 in Aurora, and died at Memorial Care Center, Aurora, on November 13, at the age of 103. His favorite conversational line in the last few years was, “do you know how OLD I am?!” and he was always the oldest person in the room.

Norma Kreutz

Norma Kreutz, age 96, of Grand Island, formerly of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Bickford Assisted Living. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Harvard Cemetery.  Current CDC guidelines will be followed.  Face masks are required.

Todd Petersen, age 48, of Aurora, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at UNMC in Omaha after a long battle with his health. Todd was cremated.  Private family inurnment will be at the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul, next to his parents.

Esther Blattner, age 72, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 at the Aurora United Methodist, located at 1104 A Street in Aurora. Inurnment will be at the Aurora Cemetery at a later date.
