Dale Patton, age 90, of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Bryan/LGH West in Lincoln.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Aurora. The Rev. Loras Grell will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Aurora Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A Rosary service will be at 7 p.m., following the visitation. Mass and Rosary will be livestreamed on St. Mary’s, Aurora and St. Joseph’s, Giltner Facebook page for those who are unable to attend in person. Current CDC guidelines will be followed and masks are required. Memorials are suggested to the family to designate at a future date. Dale Eugene Patton, the son of Roy and Fannie (Reece) Patton, was born at Fullerton, on August 18, 1930 and passed away at Lincoln, on January 30, 2021, at the age of 90.
The second of five children, he attended country grade school District 55 and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1947.
Dale was united in marriage to Evelyn Dubas of Fullerton on Sept. 8, 1952 in Wahoo. Evelyn passed away on Sept. 8, 2007.  They were lifetime residents of Nebraska, except when he attended Ohio State University.  They lived in Ralston for ten years where he travelled as a salesman and in Doniphan and Aurora.  Dale retired from the Ford New Holland Industrial Engineering Department in 1991.  They were blessed with four children.
Dale married Reve (Silvey) King of Perry, Iowa on October 31, 2009 at Loveland, Colorado returning to Aurora to live.
Dale enjoyed camping, family and traveling and in younger years hunting and fishing, as well as life in general.  In later years they wintered in Southern Texas and enjoyed different travels.  He is past or present member of AIEE, American Legion, K of C, Saddle Club and various other organizations.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Evelyn; son, Dave Patton and two brothers, Elmer Patton and Ronald Patton and sister, Lila Rittenhouse.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Reve of Aurora; three children, daughter, Glenda (Terry) Sapp of Windsor, Colorado; two sons, Mike Patton and Lalana Sperline of Centennial, Colorado and Steve Patton of Aurora; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Vietch of California and other family members and friends.
