Several multicar accidents on week’s docket

A total of six accidents were reported this week by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Aurora Police Department. On Saturday, Heather Land was pulling out of a stall at Pump and Pantry and struck a yellow post near the gas pumps, the report stated.

Phase 3, Phase 4 DHMs extended until Sept. 13

Phase 3 directed health measures (DHMs) that are in effect until Aug. 31 are being extended through Sept. 13. A total of 66 Nebraska counties are currently in Phase 3. All counties in Phase 3 will move to Phase 4 on Sept. 14 unless hospitalizations dramatically change.

Hunter Safety course postponed due to COVID-19

Due to recent concerns with COVID-19, the annual Aurora Hunter Safety course has been postponed for this year. The Hunter Safety Course can still be completed online by going to the Nebraska Game and Parks website at huntered.com/Nebraska/.
