The stage is set for another version of Aurora’s annual community celebration, with A’ROR’N Days offering activities for people of all ages Thursday through Sunday.Overall, the schedule for A’ROR’N Days weekend is similar to past years, though there are a few changes in store for version 2023.

Hampton board OKs plans for new subdivision

In an 11-minute session that was almost the complete opposite of last week’s regular Hampton Village Board meeting, the board took action Monday night on the agreement with the Hampton Community Development Corporation (HCDC) to put in a new subdivision on the town’s western edge.

With rising concerns about the longevity of the town’s lone water well and dropping groundwater levels due to the ongoing drought, the Hampton Village Board passed a resolution Monday night calling for voluntary water usage restrictions by residents.
