Aurora Supt. Jody Phillips advised the 4R School Board Monday that the statewide teacher shortage is real, though to date Aurora Public Schools has been able to hire qualified candidates and remain fully staffed.

Judge rules on Adams murder case motions

District Judge Christina Marroquin ruled in December on several defense motions arising from an October motions hearing in the Jeffery Adams murder case. Adams is set to stand trial this summer for the death of his wife Angela in their Marquette home on Feb. 26 of last year.
