J.C. Cranfill, age 94, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Aurora.  J.C.’s wishes were to be cremated and No Services will be held. Memorials may be made in care of the family to designate at a later date.

Mary Ann Nuss, age 88, of Hastings, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Mary Lanning Healthcare.A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 13 at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora.   Pastor Rick Bartek will officiate.

Howard Eloe

Howard was born May 11, 1925, to parents William Carl and Delight Miles Eloe in Aurora. He attended Aurora Public Schools where in high school he received superior ratings at state vocal music contests and all-conference and all-state recognition in football.

JoAnn Lamp

JoAnn Mildred Lamp, age 92 of York, died on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Henderson. She was born on December 11, 1930 in Le Mars, Iowa to Henry and Edna (Carpenter) Braband. On July 3, 1949, she was united in marriage to Arman Lamp in Round Lake, MN. They later divorced.
