Randy Vetter

Randy Vetter, age 74, of Aurora, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 17, 2025. Randy’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a service when the weather was warmer. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 26 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Rev.

James Higby

James Eldon Higby passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at his home in Mesquite, Nev. He was 79 years old. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, from 5-7 PM and the funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 25.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Charles Clark

Charles “Chuck” Edward Clark was born on Nov. 17, 1949, in Milford, Nebr. His parents were Irvin and Loretta Clark. He grew up in Norfolk, Nebr., attending Sacred Heart Elementary School and Norfolk Catholic High School. He welcomed his first daughter, Jennifer in his earlier marriage, in 1969.

Tim Granfield, age 66, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 21 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora. Rev. Rudy Flores will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Karen Thayer, age 82, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at her home.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 21st at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Rev. Bob Gannon will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m.

Norma Sinner, age 85, of Beaver City, formerly of Grand Island, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Beaver City Manor surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home with Dan Naranjo officiating.

Shirley Peard, age 90, of Phillips, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at Tiffany Square in Grand Island.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14 at the Phillips Global Methodist Church. Pastor Mahlon Richardson will officiate. Interment will be at the Phillips Cemetery.
