Elizabeth Heuermann, age 96, of Grand Island, passed away at CHI-St. Francis Medical Center.Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 21 at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora.   Randy Stahmer will offer words of comfort. Interment will be in the Phillips Cemetery.

Rebecca Sue “Becky” Freelend, 68, of Marquette, died Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Buffet Cancer Center in Omaha. Memorial services will be held at a future date. The family suggests donations in her honor to Hope Lodge Omaha either at cancer.

Carol Ann Lind, 75, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 18, 2024. Carol was born on March 7, 1949 to Gilbert and Talitha Elizabeth (Nuss) Huber in York. Carol graduated from York High School in 1967 and later graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
