Funeral service for Donald “Don” Galusha, 91, of Central City, will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Rev. Terry Buol will be officiating the service. Interment will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 18, 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lynch.

Charles Joseph

Charles A. Joseph, of Grand Island, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. He was born on September 15, 1957 in Aurora. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home on Friday, August 15. A funeral service will be on Saturday, August 16 at 1 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home.

Ronita Siebert

Ronita Siebert, age 86, formerly of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society in Grand Island.Ronita’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will have a private service in the Mennonite Cemetery southeast of Henderson on 5 Road. No Visitation.

Arthur "Bud" Starnes

Arthur “Bud” W Starnes, 72, of Aurora passed away peacefully Monday, August 4, 2025, at home. No visitation or funeral service will be held per Bud’s wishes.   Condolences may be sent to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.

Phillip Edward Hansen, age 64, passed away at his home in Rising City, on July 21, 2025.  Phillip was born on December 9, 1960, in Aurora, to Calvin and RoseMary Hansen. He was raised on the family farm north of Hampton.

Mary (McDonald) Miller

Mary Patricia (McDonald) Miller, 68, of Pawnee City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was born in Grand Island, on May 23, 1957 to Francis and Patricia (Habe) McDonald. She grew up the eldest of 8 children in rural Phillips.

Carol Robotham

Carol Robotham, longtime resident of Marquette, died July 21, 2025, at the age of 102. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 26 at the Aurora United Methodist Church.   Rev. Michelle Reed will officiate.   Interment will be in the Richland Cemetery.

Harvey Blase

Harvey G. Blase, age 79, of Central City, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Central City.  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 18 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Connie Koch

Connie Jean Koch, daughter of Jack and Jean Koch, was born in Grand Island, on March 28, 1963, and passed away in Grand Island on June 25, 2025, at the age of 62.Connie grew up in Grand Island and discovered her passion for cosmetology.

Dr. Steven Rothenberger

Steven Rothenberger, 77, of Kearney, passed away on July 4, 2025, at Bethany Home in Minden. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 25, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Kearney, with Pastor Sharon Rees officiating. A private family interment will take place at the Kearney Cemetery.
