The Aurora girls wrestling team advanced four competitors to Friday’s A-3 district event with tickets to the state championships hanging in the balance.

From here on out the matches are only going to get more important for the Aurora girls wrestlers.The Lady Huskies medaled six of its nine entrants at Friday’s Central Conference tournament in York, the unofficial start to postseason competition with the state meet just two weeks out.

Aurora became the epicenter of youth wrestling Sunday with nearly 500 participants in town for the Aurora wrestling club’s tournament. Athletes from eighth grade down to PreK showed off their talents in front of a jam-packed crowd.
