Marjory Rosas

Marjory Rosas, 55, of Aurora, passed away Oct. 14, 2020 at her home, with her loved ones surrounding her. Marjory’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will host a Celebration of Life from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24 at the 4-H Building at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, 8th & A St., Aurora.

Jimmie Nason

Jimmie Nason, age 75, of Phillips, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020, at his home after battling his second bout of cancer. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 at the Phillips Cemetery.  The family invite you to the Phillips Memorial Hall from 3-5 p.m.

Leslie Florea

Leslie Gayle Wintermute Florea passed away in Grand Island, on Sept. 30, 2020 at the age of 84. A Memorial Service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5 at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel, located at 1404 L Street in Aurora. Graveside service at the Aurora Cemetery followed.

Harold Junker

Rural Hastings resident Harold E. Junker, 77, joined the angels Saturday, October 3, 2020, at his home.   Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, at Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Karen Uden-Tjarks officiating.

Jerome A. Weiss, 92, of Grand Island passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at CHI-Health St. Francis. Celebration of Life services will be held on Monday, October 12 at 1:30 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service. Dan Naranjo will officiate.

Doyle Bish

Doyle Bish, age 96, of Aurora, formerly of Giltner passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at Memorial Community Care. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Giltner Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora.

Norman LeRoy Luthy, age 89, of Aurora, passed away on Sept. 29, 2020 at Memorial Community Care in Aurora. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1 at the Westside Covenant Church in Aurora. Pastor Karl Larson will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

June Gustafson, age 92, of Lincoln, formerly of Aurora, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020, at Hillcrest Firethorn Health Services in Lincoln. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 6th at the Evangelical Free Church in Aurora. Rev. Vance Christie will officiate.

Ted L. Swanson, age 78, of Kearney, died on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Home – Keens Memorial in Kearney. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Kearney American Legion Club.
