Donna M. Rasmussen, age 83, of Aurora, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020, at Memorial Community Care after a short battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 26 at Zion Lutheran Church north of Hampton.  Rev. Tim Wells will officiate.

Ronald Paul Singer, 74, of Wauneta, passed away in McCook, on Sept. 4, 2020. Ron was born on Dec. 13, 1945 in Garnett, Kansas to Paul and Helen (Howery) Singer. He graduated from Parker High School in 1964 and attended one year at Allen County Community College before being drafted.

Harriet Elizabeth Toof (Sims) passed away Aug. 2, 2020, 21 days before her 100th birthday. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colo. since 1963. During her life she was a Navy pilot’s wife; elementary school teacher, mother; grandmother; great and great-great grandmother.

Dr. Donald Burling

Dr. Donald Eugene Burling, 86, of Aurora, passed away Aug. 24, 2020. Private family graveside services were held at the Kenesaw Cemetery on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020. Rev. Greg Reed officiated. Inurnment was in the Kenesaw Cemetery. Memorials may be to the family to be designated at a later date.

Dewayne Hiebner

Dewayne L. Hiebner was called home on Aug. 26, 2020 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital after going into cardiac arrest. Dewayne was born Feb. 8, 1942 in York, to Thomas and Lena (Rempel) Hiebner. He was married to Sharon Glanzer in rural Freeman, S.D. on July 18, 1965.

Bobby G. Ranard passed away calmly and peacefully at his home in Grand Island on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, just six days after celebrating his 92nd birthday. Bobby Gene was born on Aug. 16, 1928 to Oren L. and Mabel G. (Pitts) Ranard at their family home in Giltner.
